About Me
Let's call this my research journal. I want to compile all I learn about hip hop, rap, and r&b. I want to study the music, but I also want to study the world behind it. I'm especially interested in how music affects (or reflects?) intercultural and gender relations. I'll try to be upfront about my biases: white, middle class, college grad, Christian, and moderately feminist. I love hip hop, rap, and r&b. I wish that I could be a less conspicuous observer. Sorry.
